Mercedes is a State of Florida licensed and ASHA certified Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. She was awarded a Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Florida International University in 2012. She provides pediatric speech-language & feeding therapy focused on evidence based research, clinical expertise, and continued training. We specialize in providing Speech, Language, and Feeding therapy to preschool and young elementary school age children, from birth to 5 years of age. Mercedes provides services throughout the Melbourne Beaches of Indialantic, Indian Harbour Beach, Satellite Beach, North Melbourne Beach. Parents are encouraged to play an active role in therapy through parent education and direct coaching. Therapy strategies and activities are relevant to the child's daily routines. Mercedes is available to provide therapy in English and Spanish in the child's home setting and other natural environments. ‍ Mercedes frequently participates in continuing education and training programs in order to expand her knowledge and provide quality services to the community.
